・Bean sprouts

I'm sure there are many salad lovers, but what about bean sprout salad?

Japanese bean sprouts are one of the four great crowd-drawers, along with rice, eggs, and milk.

At 25 yen per bag, producers are in tears. But for students with no money, cup ramen with a raw egg and bean sprouts makes them feel like they're getting their protein and vitamins ...or am I the only one?

It's cheap yet highly nutritious. Its mild flavor makes it a versatile vegetable that can be used in stir-fries, stews, miso soup, and salads.

You're just a bean sprout, but you're so cheeky!

·choice

In Seongju, even those who are not Japanese have the Sakura brand.

Crisp, crispy, chewy, $1.55 bean sprouts that say, "I'm not a crowd-pleaser."

·cooking

Cooking bean sprouts is super easy: just put them in boiling water for 1 minute.

If you boil it for too long, it will become soggy and have a poor texture, and the nutrients it boasts will dissolve into the water.

To this.

By adding large, white boiled Toyokomachi soybeans from Inazo and adding some color with sweet corn, you'll have a filling and nutritious salad.

Adding broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, purple onions, and even boiled eggs makes it a filling, yet low-calorie, low-fat, and high-protein meal that's almost completely nutritious.

·cone

The sweet corn is high quality, made in France under the Daucy brand. It's a little pricey, but it's only about $2.80 per can.

If it's good quality corn,

"I want to add sweetness but I don't want to use sugar."

It gives you a mellow sweetness when you want to fulfill your contradictory selfish wish .

What about frozen ones or ones made in China? They're not sweet enough and I don't feel like I've eaten anything.

·dressing

Now, to the main topic of this section.

The classic seasoning is mayonnaise. However, 70% of its ingredients are omega-6 vegetable oils. If you're a mom who's worried about your flabby upper arms, it's probably best to avoid it.

So, what about commercially available dressings?

It contains a lot of the infamous "high fructose corn syrup" - an artificial sweetener used as a sugar substitute to add sweetness cheaply - so I don't really want to use it.

(Sugar does not become energy, but directly becomes triglycerides. If you are dieting, it is better to reduce fructose intake than rice intake.)

Processed foods are listed in order of the amount of sugar used, but mass-produced commercial products rank high in fructose.

The standard diet for modern people consists of refined salt that is rich in fructose and sodium, white sugar that is rich in sucrose, white rice and white wheat that are rich in starch, and plenty of food additives.

Well, that's true. If you don't walk much and your nutrition is so unbalanced, it's impossible to avoid lifestyle-related diseases.

・Soy sauce koji

Dressing is easy and cheap to make, maybe even taking a minute.

For example, a recipe for a Japanese-style dressing that uses soy sauce koji as the main ingredient.

What you will need (half a bag of bean sprouts)
1. Half to one tablespoon of soy sauce koji
2. Half a tablespoon of flaxseed oil
3. 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
4. White sesame seeds, as needed

Just mix these ingredients together. Adjust the amount and acidity as needed. The look and taste are completely Japanese-style dressing, but the flavor may vary depending on the amount and type of oil used.

Koji mold, apple cider vinegar, and linseed oil to top it off!? I'm praising myself for how unbeatable this dressing is lol

It's so cheap and easy. I feel bad for Kewpie, but would you buy a bottle of high fructose and vegetable oil dressing for $7?

Soy sauce koji is less convenient to use than salt koji, but it is the better choice for making dressings.

Flaxseed oil has a slightly strong flavor, so olive oil or avocado oil would also work well.

Koji products are something parents should actively use for their future health .

You may have the illusion that you're still young, but once you hit 38, things start to feel a bit sluggish, and it all seems like a distant memory.

So if you don't take action quickly, you'll end up like me, nostalgic for the Showa era lol
