When you think of the king of vegetables, what comes to mind?

I would answer immediately, "Broccoli!" In the diverse vegetable world, broccoli's legend of being the best remains unshakable , considering its nutritional value, cost, and availability .

First of all, the protein content of 3.7g/100g is among the highest of any vegetable.

It contains vitamins B, E, and K, as well as potassium, magnesium, and carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body. It also boasts more vitamin C than lemons, but is not at all sour.

(Lemons are sour because of citric acid!)

It was originally a cabbage, which was then bred to become cauliflower, and then broccoli (B) was bred from that.

When vegetables are boiled, the vitamins dissolve and the nutritional value is lost.

In particular, the selling point of B is vitamin C. As a blue-collar worker (←me) for whom immunity is vital, I want to actively take in vitamin C.

You can boil it for about a minute like ohitashi, but B is tough, so another cooking method is recommended.

So I use muss or a microwave. If I boil it, it turns a disgusting ochre color.

...

The B I bought in one bottle is huge and very impressive.

When I see this, am I the only one who is reminded of the giant tree that rose into space along with the giant flying stone at the end of Laputa ?

Cut each branch into bite-sized pieces.

Ironically, the most nutritious parts of vegetables, fruits, and even rice are the parts we throw away, such as the skin and bran layer.

The same goes for B. The stem, which resembles a muscular upper arm with its veins bulging, is surprisingly soft, so I also chopped it into small pieces about 1cm long.

If your pot has a steamer, just add water and make the mushy mixture, or if you're using a microwave, wet it and cook it at 600W for 3 minutes.

"Hahaha! It's like people are trash!"

When cooking B, Colonel Muska's famous line somehow echoes around.

"Look at Laputa's thunder! Hahaha! Don't you think it's the best show ever! " said this wonderful psychopathic uncle ♡, who is 28 years old, which even surprised Anago-kun (26 years old).

If you experience something that has a strong impact on you as a child, you will never forget it, even at this age.

By extension, the taste of your mother's cooking that is ingrained in your brain as a child will stay with you for the rest of your life, I'm sure.

I hope you will cherish your childhood, which is just over 10 years after you are born.

...

Bals!

Range stops with the spell, making B easy!

This is mixed with soybean ryuho, which has a protein content of 43.5%, and then enjoyed as a salad.

If you add soybeans to a salad, the protein content will increase dramatically. Soybeans increase in volume by about three times when put back into water, so even one 300g bag contains a considerable amount.

For boiled salads, Hokkaido Toyokomachi may be recommended as it is aesthetically white in color and has a strong sweetness.

Add boiled eggs, which are known for being a complete nutritional food, and you have a high-protein, high-vitamin, yet low-calorie diet meal. You can also add canned boiled mackerel.

Adding cherry tomatoes to this creates a colorful dish that is truly a feast for the eyes.

How about a Japanese-style dressing based on soy sauce and koji?
